Identification of threads used in shawl embroidery

Objective: At the end of this exercise you shall be able to
• identify the thread size.
Requirements

Materials
• Cotton thread Size 40 - as reqd. • Cotton thread Size 60 - as reqd.
• Cotton thread Size 50 - as reqd. • Cotton thread Size 80 - as reqd.

PROCEDURE
Instructor may show the following size of cotton threads of different sizes to the trainees in the class
room and ask them to write the size.
